Because it's uneconomical to send items outside our delivery area, we have released the DIY plans for our popular Laundry Cheat, to make it yourself, cheaply and easily.
All you need is a few tools and a little know-how, or know someone that does. It can be done in an afternoon.
We've drawn a complete set of plans with easy to follow, step by step instructions, to make your own Laundry Cheat. We've even included the specific item numbers and quantities so that you can purchase the exact parts you'll need from your local BUNNINGS store (no affiliation).
When you order the materials via the Bunnings website you can have the parts picked and ready for collection at your local store. Simply enter the part numbers we provide, along with the quantity and they'll have your order ready to go in no time.
It's also easy to modify these plans to make the 6-basket version. It's basically two 3-basket units joined together with one long benchtop.
For customers outside Australia/New Zealand, we have made the part descriptions easily recognisable so you can purchase them at your local hardware store, such as Home Depot or Homebase. You can even adjust it to fit different basket sizes.
So, if you have a few tools and some practical skills, or know someone that does, it should only take an afternoon to build and at around half the price.
